Durham Nuclear Awareness is inviting you to join an online preparatory session to support public participation in the upcoming review by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission of an application by Ontario Power Generation for the operation of the four CANDU reactors at the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station on the shore of Lake Ontario in the Municipality of Clarington.
Tuesday, April 29th, 7 pm eastern

In recent years, DNA has collaborated closely with CELA (the Canadian Environmental Law Association) on interventions to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).
To take a look at CELA’s submissions, go to the CELA Web site, locate the search bar, & put Durham Nuclear Awareness into it.
On January 8, 2025, a new 5-day CNSC hearing took place regarding the construction of an SMR (Small Modular Reactor) at the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station.
